Dru Ealons is a modern woman infused with traditional values…a true Southern Belle! A native of Birmingham, Alabama, Dru takes pride in her southern roots and values the positive impact it has on her life.  While she currently lives in the Washington, DC area, Dru never misses an opportunity let everyone know she hails from the great state of Alabama!

Grounded in her faith, Dru is grateful for a strong relationship with God and recognizes daily how He has provided her with limitless opportunities.   Upon graduating from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, her career path started at Southern Progress Corporation, a national magazine and book publishing company, which published some of America’s favorite magazines such as Southern Living and Cooking Light. Eventually, Dru’s natural pull towards philanthropy steered her career to work for one of Birmingham’s homeless shelter for women and children, Pathways.  Both opportunities provided her with a solid foundation to hone her human resources, relationship building, community relations and philanthropic skills.  Those experiences opened a door Dru would have never imagined.  In 2010, she received a Presidential appointment by President Barack Obama, where she served as a senior official at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.  Both Dru and her husband, Corey Ealons served in the Obama Administration.

Currently, Dru Ealons is the founder and chief executive officer of The Ealons Group, LLC, a boutique consulting firm providing strategic consultation in the areas of entrepreneurship and career development. Their specialty is helping individuals find their passion, create a roadmap and launch into their destiny.  With more than 17 years’ experience, Dru helps her clients enhance their business and career goals, establish profitable relationships and increase their bottom line.

Dru is married to Corey Ealons and they have one son, Maxwell. She currently serves as the national director for public policy and advocacy for Mocha Moms, Inc. and is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
